Kosmos v13 Released

Kosmos v13 Released

Team AtlasNX have released a new version of their Kosmos all-in-one pre-configured CFW package which is based on the new Hekate v5.0.0 and Atmosphere v0.9.2 along with the latest version of PegaScape.

This universal solution will allow you to easily boot homebrew on all Nintendo Switch consoles, including iPatched consoles running the v4.1.0 firmware. Kosmos is easy to install, just copy the contents of the archive onto your Micro SD Card and launch it using your prefered entry point and you're good to go (oh, don't forget the optional, but often necessary signature patches!)

What's New?

## Pegascape

After many teasers and a lot of speculation, we finally released Pegascape. A DNS combining 90DNS and a user-friendly PegaSwitch frontend into one easy to use DNS. Anyone that wants to protect himself from Nintendo's servers can use it, however there is even more to it.
As many already know, patched Switches can't access Homebrew as the only way to access homebrew (easily) was to use fusee gelee. This changed however with the recent documentation of the "Deja Vu"-related flaws. These chained together allow for a potential entrypoint till 7.0.1.
Stuckpixel quickly made use of it by releasing "nereba", a currently 1.0-only implementation allowing you to boot into any payload. This was quickly followed up by "Caffeine", caffeine allows us to boot 2.0, 3.0 and most recently, 4.1, which means IPATCHED Switches can now reboot into payloads. And here comes the great part, you can do this all with the click of a button and without ever installing or starting anything yourself.

## Hekate

* Introducing Nyx v0.8.0
Nyx is hekate's GUI. Packs many features, like FastFS, emuMMC manage, customization, etc.
Look below for more.
8.1.0 support
* emuMMC support
It supports disabling it by boot entry (emummc_force_disable=1), stock (not all fw ver support it) and many more.
Works with SD raw partition and SD file based. (SD file based is extremely slow. Wait for FastFS 4 emuMMC).
This version can sanely shutdown and also supports more SD cards than before.
Thanks to a collab with [@m4xw](https://github.com/m4xw) , [@SciresM](https://github.com/SciresM), [@hexkyz](https://github.com/hexkyz).
* Supercharged boot times
Even with emuMMC or kip1 patching, it's faster than before.
* Supercharged Backup/Restore with FastFS (Nyx only)
Backup and Restore is now orders of magnitudes faster.
Some examples (measured on a U3 SD): No verif: 9min, Sparse: 15min, etc. Even Full with hashes is extremely faster.
* External KIP1 patching support
Now non-important patches reside outside of hekate binary. For now this can only patch KIPs defined in hekate's code, with whatever new patches. Next versions will support other KIPs.
* Many bugfixes

See the [Hekate release page](https://github.com/CTCaer/hekate/releases) for more details on Nyx.

## Atmosphere

* Support was added for 8.1.0.
* Tons of fixes for emuMMC
* dmnt's Cheat VM was extended to add a new debug opcode.
* Creport output was improved significantly.

See the [Atmosphere release page](https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere/releases) for more details.

v12

Nearly 6 months ago we released v11, it was one of the most critical changes to Kosmos and created a huge burden on the next major version. That burden being that it had to top the creation of a team and all the other stuff that happened with that version. Today, after 6 months and 14 releases, we're happy to release the 50th version of Kosmos and next major release, v12. It's completely unbelievable how far Kosmos has gotten over the time and all of this wouldn't have been possible without this talented team willing to join me on the adventure and all the patrons and fans that now allow us to pay for sdsetup.com, guide.sdsetup.com and much more.

I also want to thank @CTCaer and many other amazing developers for continues support over this journey but also artists such as bernv3 and the whole discord community constantly providing us with valuable feedback and happiness.

So without any more rambling, let us look at this great changelog :)

General

* Updated Atmosphere to 0.8.6
* The default behavior for loader's HBL support was changed.
* Instead of launching HBL when album is launched without R held, loader now launches HBL when album or any game is launched with R held.
* Many other critical bugfixes and feature additions
* Switched to NSP sysmodules instead of the old KIP format
* Updated sys-ftpd to allow for authenticated connections
* Added the sys-clk sysmodule for overclocking
* Updated Goldleaf and the Homebrew Appstore
* This adds 7.x support to Goldleaf among other things
* Added fusee-primary payload as a bootable option
* Updated ES-Patches

But wait. THERE'S MORE!

Update of the Kosmos Toolbox!

After months of teasing and lots of testing the Kosmos-Toolbox is finally ready for you to use. Featuring the worlds first sysmodule hotloading and much much more!

New Features

* Hot loading and unloading of sysmodules
* This means no more annoying reboots just to enable overclocking or the FTP server!
* Fully adaptable for additional sysmodules
* Reboot2Hekate
* Ever been annoyed about how long it takes to launch Lakka or to start a NAND backup? We too. Reboot2Hekate allows you to reboot directly into any Hekate profile you have installed on your system or into the Hekate menu itself with the click of a button.
* HID-mitm input configuration
* The second really big feature of Kosmos v12 is the release of jakibaki's hid-mitm. For ease of use the latest Toolbox release introduces a new interface to easily rebind any button to another!
* Bug fixes
* We heard you and fixed the annoying override-key rebind bug!
* Fully compatible with the latest Atmosphère 0.8.6 changes!

Release of hid-mitm!

With this latest release we're bringing you a new and awesome custom sysmodule called hid-mitm. Jakibaki has been hard at work to implement this and it's finally ready.

Introducing a way to remap all joycon and controller buttons PLUS using ANY other of your controllers like the XBOX One or Dualshock controller with your Nintendo Switch! To do this we also released a Android and iOS app that connects to your Controller and sends the data over to your Console
You can find more info about this sysmodule at https://github.com/jakibaki/hid-mitm/blob/master/README.md

Please note that this is in beta
That does not mean it hasn't been vetted at all, so give it a shot today!
