TWiLight Menu++ v9.2.0 Released


A new version of the TWiLight Menu++ has been released. TWiLight Menu++ is an open-source DSi Menu upgrade/replacement, and frontend for nds-bootstrap for DSi, and flashcards. TWiLight Menu++ allows you to play supported Nintendo DS homebrew and retail games on the Nintendo 3DS using only your external SD Card (no flashcard is required).

Description

TWiLight Menu++ is an open-source DSi Menu upgrade/replacement, and frontend for nds-bootstrap for DSi, and flashcards. TWiLight Menu++ allows you to play supported Nintendo DS homebrew and retail games on the Nintendo 3DS using only your external SD Card (no flashcard is required).

Instructions
Updating from v6.6.0 and later

    Overwrite the _nds folder on the SD root, with the new one from the .7z file.

What's new?

*   If nds-bootstrap isn't found, TWLMenu++ now shows which build isn't found.
*   Added AP-patch for Gyakuten Kenji 2 (Japan).

Bug fix

*   If `Bootstrap` is set to `Release` in TWLMenu++ settings, launching a game will no longer boot the `Nightly` nds-bootstrap build, and vice-versa.

*   Manual: GBARunner2 page has been updated!

Bug fixes

*   When launching a game in widescreen, if `sysmodules` folder is not found in `sd:/luma`, the folder will be created, so `Widescreen.cxi` will be loaded successfully.
*   As GBARunner2 reads `bios.bin` from `sd:/gba`, the GBA BIOS is now checked there as well.
*   Launched Slot-1 cards using `Direct` method now always uses 48khz sound frequency, in order to fix the bug where using 32khz causes sound to not work.
*   Saturn theme: Fixed positioning for save messages.

You no longer need to hold L for the following games to work

*   Pokemon Platinum (Random crashes fixed)
*   Rockman ZX/MegaMan ZX

    DSi, 3DS, and R4 themes: You can now press B on the AP-patch message, if shown for your game, to skip launching the game.

Bug fixes

    .launchargs made with launcharggen no longer causes the Now Loading... screen to be stuck.
    The DSi splash now plays at the proper speed.
