Flycast Sega Dreamcast Emulator Now Available In RetroArch

The Libretro Team have tweeted that the pre-release stand alone Flycast emulation core has added to RetroArch, meaning it's no longer a pre-release. Flycast, which is a fork of reicast, allows you to play Sega Dreamcast games on your Nintendo Switch. Since it's now available in RetroArch all you'd need to do to get it on your Switch is update the core info by going to Online Updater -] Update Cores and then you can download it from the list. If you do not have an Internet connection on your Switch flycast is can be obtained in the RetroArch nightlies (just make to grab today's version or newer).

It was the first in the sixth generation of video game consoles, preceding Sony's PlayStation 2, Nintendo's GameCube and Microsoft's Xbox. The Dreamcast was Sega's final home console, marking the end of the company's 18 years in the console market.
