parkerlreed has released an up to date and modified version of the The eduke32 engine, which has been recompiled to support the 2019 FPS game Ion Fury, which was created using the Duke Nukem 3D FPS engine. Ion Fury is a 2019 first-person shooter video game developed by Voidpoint and published by 3D Realms. It is a prequel to the 2016 video game Bombshell. Ion Fury runs on a modified version of Ken Silverman's Build engine and is the first original commercial game to utilize the engine in 19 years, the previous being World War II GI.

Due to changes in the way firmware 9.0.0 handles user input homebrew will have to be recompiled to function correctly using this firmware. Read the changelog to make sure the homebrew you're using has been updated to work on 9.0.0 if you're using firmware 9.0.0 or newer.

Instructions

This is the upstream Eduke32 codebase built with FURY=1 (as if it was being released normally)

This changes some codepaths to be more optimized.

Software renderer plus a slight CPU overclock is recommended for the best experience.

Place the `fury` folder in your sdmc:/switch/ along with

*   fury.grp
*   fury.grpinfo
*   fury.def

inside `fury`

Launch the homebrew with title redirection (Hold R trigger on any game to load the Homebrew Menu).
