DolphiniOS 1.1.0 Released

DolphiniOS 1.1.0 Released

The Dolphin emulator for GameCube and Wii consoles was launched on iOS earlier this month with version 1.0.0 of DolphiniOS.

Version 1.1.0 has already been released, it brings interesting elements:

- Better performance on all devices since the last version of MotlenVK is used, fast texture hashing has been reactivated on A10 + devices (SoC A9 does not support CRC32 intrinsics) and the Dolphin kernel has been recompiled as a `` Release '' to make use of better code optimization
- On an iPhone X, this resulted in an increase of 15 frames per second (45 to 60 frames per second) on the title screen of Wii Sports Resort
- WiiMote's motion sensors can now be emulated with motion sensors, allowing you to perform rotational movements in games like Super Mario Galaxy and Kirby's Adventure
- The emulation of the touch screen pointer is now more precise, even if a pressure near the edges of the screen can sometimes behave strangely
- In Wii games, you can change the emulated controller by choosing one of the following options
 > GameCube controller
 > Wiimote
 > Wiimote Sideways (useful for titles like Mario Kart)
- In portrait mode, the game screen on the iPhone has been moved so as not to overlap the touch controls, experimental support for Chimera has been added and the recording of installation progress is more detailed in order to facilitate troubleshooting
- OatmealDome declares that work on adding controller support (MFi) for a better gaming experience is underway and that a redesign of the user interface could also occur thanks to the work of Magnetar.
