VVVVVV ported on Switch

VVVVVV is a two-dimensional platform / puzzle video game created by Irish-born game designer Terry Cavanagh. It was developed using Adobe Flash software and its source code was released on January 10, 2020.

The game proposes to play Viridian, captain of a spacecraft, lost in another dimension in search of the members of his team. The player cannot jump, but instead reverse the direction of gravity, which allows Captain Viridian to walk sometimes on the ground, sometimes on the ceiling. The graphic style is very inspired by that of the Commodore 64; in the same way also, the music of the game works on the principle of chiptune, that is to say that they are made directly by the hardware of the machine. Magnus PĂ„lsson, who composed them, released the game's soundtrack as PPPPPP.

NX-VVVVVV v1.0.0 offered by NicholeMattera is a port of VVVVVV 2.2.0 source code.

VVVVVVV.nro is the build of the full version while VVVVVVVV-MAP.nro is the compilation of the make and play version.
