Switch LAN Play v0.2.3 Released

Switch LAN Play v0.2.3

spacemeowx2 has just released a new update for the Switch LAN Play client, version 0.2.3.

Windows and Linux compatible tools allow us to network the Nintendo console via a home router, without going through Nintendo servers. The idea is always as simple, being able to play online as if you were on a local network, through an online server, other than the one offered by Nintendo.

This means several things: the first is that to be able to play with your friends, is to run the lan-play client by connecting to the same server on your PC and define a static IP address on your Switch. Your PC and your Switch must be connected to the same router.

Going through an alternative server to those offered by Nintendo or the publishers also means that it is possible to use consoles that have been banned from official live. This also means that on the other hand only a handful of official titles are compatible with this possibility, those which integrate LAN functions detached from the official Nintendo servers.

Compatible games:

- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Mario Tennis Aces
- Splatoon 2
- ARMS
- Pokken Tournament DX
- Titan Quest
- Bayonetta 2
- Diablo III
- Titan Quest
- RetroArch (Retrogaming {Hombrew})
- Saints Row 3

Changelog 0.2.3:
- Always use socks5 proxy, even without flag.
