RocketRobz informs us that it has just made available to all those who still have a 3DS a brand new version of Universal Updater.
 
Universal Updater is the much simpler-to-use equivalent of MultiUpdater, it also includes the basics of operation, but more accessible.

This version 3.0.0 is the "first anniversary" edition of the software, this version is a complete overhaul of the application! Everything has been thought out and redesigned in order to make the use of Universal-Updater a much simpler and more intuitive experience. Now, when loading Universal-Updater, the last UniStore used, by default Universal-DB, opens immediately.
 
From here you can see all the apps on the top screen and the bottom of the screen now has separate tabs for info, downloads, search, sort and settings, while keeping the app list active on the upper screen. The graphics have also been redone to give a cleaner and more modern feel.

Searching and filtering has also been improved on screenshots, you can now tag apps and filter to only show apps with specific brands and / or only apps that have updates available. The search is now better and you can change filters and search without having to dig through menus.
 
The old "scripts" have been completely abandoned in favor of UniStores, but no functionality is lost because all the applications that could be downloaded with the official scripts are now on Universal-DB and even those which have complex installation processes. like TWiLight Menu ++ still work fine, plus tracking updates and more information.
