Hekate - CTCaer mod v5.5.2 & Nyx v0.9.8 Released

Hekate - CTCaer mod v5.5.2 & Nyx v0.9.8

CTCaer has been offering version 5.5.2 of Hekate - CTCaer mod and version 0.9.8 of Nyx for a few hours.

For Hekate - CTCaer mod, the changes are numerous, they concern as much the management of the HOS simplifying future updates as the AutoRCM on Switches with a chip.

Power management has also been fixed, as has power off, and overclocking RAM has been made easier for users building an already overclocked Minerva library. Note that all power management has been redesigned, namely the framework of regulators, reboot and power off).

At Nyx level, it is the emuMMC which saw its migration soften in order to now be able to choose a complete or partial migration, previously the migration was automatically complete.

The XUSB on the Mariko models benefits from better performance, now as good as on the Erista models since the gains go up to 96% more, which is almost a doubling.

The timings of the UMS have been reworked to work under Arch Linux, enormous latencies are noticeable under Arch Linux which can sometimes reach up to 2 seconds.

At the level of Linux and Android, the management of the partitions is better managed, namely that the flashes only turn on if the partitions are found, moreover, additional checks are carried out if the firmware is correctly associated.

Nyx will now display additional information such as the compatibility of the HOS version and burnt efuses.

Developer CTCaer also added GPU, CPU information, and made many bug fixes, the backlight now works in UMS, and when Nyx options are changed, a pop-up asks to save them if the user has forgot to do it.
