RetroArch v1.7.8 v2, v3 & v4 Released (Now Works Under 9.0.0 Firmware)

The Libretro and RetroArch Teams have released a new version of RetroArch, which is a front-end which includes the Libretro core system. Each core contains an emulator for a classic video gaming console or specific game emulator which allows you to play various classic games on your modern video gaming console. RetroArch allows you to play your classic collection of retro games on your Nintendo Switch hybrid video gaming console.

This new version (v4) has been updated to work under the 9.0.0 firmware along with some other changes. v2 and v3 were released and featured various bug fixes (before v4, of course). All of the other RetoArch versions for the other various consoles (3ds, GameCube, Xbox One, PS3, etc ...) have also been updated.

Due to changes in the way firmware 9.0.0 handles user input homebrew will have to be recompiled to function correctly using this firmware. Read the changelog to make sure the homebrew you're using has been updated to work on 9.0.0 if you're using firmware 9.0.0 or newer.
