H-Encore 2 source code published

H-Encore 2 source code published

Developer TheFlow just released the entire source code for the H-Encore 2 exploit over Christmas. His exploit, which once again revolutionized the world of PlayStation Vita and TV, and more broadly in the PlayStation scene, allowed the execution of unsigned code on firmware 3.68 to 3.72.

In fact, TheFlow only released the various Return Oriented Programming (ROP) attacks based on usable gadgets. It's pretty amazing to see TheFlow publish all of the source code for the ROP chain used in H-Encore 2.

In fact, Sony would have succeeded in patching the exploit, which implies its diffusion.

It's all there: ROP H-Encore 2
