m4xw unveils a standalone version of PPSSPP

m4xw has just released a brand new standalone version of the best PSP emulator, PPSSPP, which has been improved for the Nintendo Switch.

The developer recognizes that the code needs to be further improved a little but the build is now quite advanced to be published, and above all the changes in this version are very numerous, so numerous that he prefers to publish it now rather than wait for the release. release of the "official" version.

Changelog
- Fixed the "Home" button in PPSSPP (not the "Switch Home" button)
- Fixed game menu continuing after opening settings (some GPU settings may not refresh properly, but this refresh caused the issue)
- Fixed issue on launch
- Fixed on directory issue (you may need to manually edit the ini if it is not created again)
- Correction on the launch of recent games (delete old entries!)
- Controls.ini / Drag & Drop Bundle (be careful if you don't want to lose your own mappings)
- Added "fake GLES2" -> Much better performance in GTAs, but breaks many other games if internal resolution is> 1x
- Addition of the GLES3 build -> Less bugs, roughly the same performance as the free port
- Addition of a browser applet to some menu links (because why not)
- NXLink support enabled (for development and debugging)
- Updated again, one NRO now resides in / switch and another in / switch / ppsspp, which basically allows both NROs to be shown in the hbmenu
If the PPSSPP folder is still showing in the main menu, make sure there is only one NRO in / switch / ppsspp (it doesn't matter which one).
Both have access to resources, config and flash, from / switch / ppsspp
- GLES3 has been replaced by GL (GL is superior in all respects)
- Realization of JIT, masking is no longer necessary, so there should be no more JIT bugs that the desktop standalone / Lakka does not have (this change will also be added to the libretro next week)
- However, we have less space to work with due to a Libnx bug (virtmem no longer works), so it may crash if you run ~ 15 games in a row without going back to the hbmenu / home menu. This number will vary depending on the amount of memory allocated by the jit buffer depending on the game.
- Add other JIT mental balance checks and fixes
- The GL version should be about the same level as the standard version, while the GLES2 version has some additional gfx issues but better performance in some games (most are GTAs).
- Improved general system stability to improve user experience.
- Correction on the Homebrew store
- Fixed on ad hoc Multiplayer and server
- Libnx updated, full version 9.0.0 support
- Availability of the latest version of Upstram 11.03.2020, this fixes some recent regressions and remote iso loading for Switch!
- Based on the latest upstream version, v1.10.3
- Improved stability of feedback + timeout reports
- Reworked JIT integration, now uses writable pointer for code output (recently introduced upstream for Switch PR)
- This should fix all remaining JIT issues!
- Fixed build without miniUPNP library / Corrections for PortManager
- Improved UI scaling
